Routine is one of the biggest factors in how well dogs settle into a new environment. Clear expectations around arrival times, daily care, and what to bring help create a calm and predictable experience for everyone involved.
Drop-off and pick-up
At PawSaga K9 Services, drop-off and pick-up take place within specific time windows, which are shared with owners before booking.
These windows aren’t about being rigid — they’re about maintaining structure. Predictable arrivals and departures reduce unnecessary stimulation, help dogs settle faster, and allow the day to flow smoothly without constant disruption.
What to bring for your dog
Keeping things familiar helps dogs adjust more easily. Please bring:
• Your dog’s usual food for the full stay
• Any medication, clearly labelled with instructions
• Optional comfort items (some dogs settle better without extra belongings)
There’s no need to overpack. In many cases, less is more.
How stays work
Dogs stay in the house with me and have access to a large outdoor area. Care is home-based, calm, and structured — not a kennel-style setup.
I focus on routine, clear boundaries, and practical care that suits the individual dog. Some dogs thrive with more structure, others with extra downtime, and care is adjusted accordingly.
This approach helps dogs feel safe, settled, and confident during their stay.
