Choosing care for your dog isn’t just about finding a place — it’s about finding the environment where your dog feels safe, happy, and comfortable. That’s why I’m upfront about how PawSaga works and who it’s best suited for.
PawSaga offers home-based boarding and daycare with structure, routine, and thoughtful handling -but dogs here don’t just lie around all day.
What Dogs Enjoy at PawSaga
Dogs here get:
• Daily walks, enrichment, and appropriate play
• Social time carefully matched to their personalities
• Clear routines that help them feel safe, relaxed, and confident
Perfect for dogs who enjoy walks, playtime, and company, but also need some calm moments to rest and feel secure.
Supporting Dogs Who Need Extra Help
Some dogs find traditional boarding or busy daycare overwhelming. When space allows and the situation is right, I take on dogs who need extra support — for example, dogs who find change difficult or need more careful management than a typical setup.
This isn’t my standard routine, but I make room when possible because I know how challenging it can be to find the right care. Safety, predictability, and fairness are always the priority.
Training & Long-Term Boarding
I don’t offer class-style training sessions during short-term boarding, and I don’t believe in quick behaviour “fixes.” Support happens through consistent routines, boundaries, and calm daily handling.
I do, however, offer selective long-term boarding placements where the focus is stability and supporting training over time rather than a holiday-style stay. These are only offered when the dog, situation, and space are the right fit.
Dogs With More Complex Needs
Dogs with a history of more significant behavioural challenges are considered individually, with safety and suitability always coming first in a home-based environment.
This approach ensures that I provide the right care for the dogs I do take — while being honest and responsible about what I can safely support.
Why Fit Matters
My goal isn’t to take every dog — it’s to provide the right care for the dogs I do take. When the fit is right, dogs settle better, owners feel confident, and everyone has a more positive experience.
If PawSaga sounds like it could be a good match for your dog, get in touch and we can talk openly about your dog’s needs.
